Worthy eyes United winger
Norwich manager Nigel Worthington has hinted he could be interested in Manchester United winger Kieran Richardson.
Worthington is considering his transfer options as he looks to bolster his squad at Carrow Road.
With David Bentley having his loan spell at Norwich cut short by injury Worthington is looking to bring in a new loanee.
Worthington is hoping that Manchester United may allow them to take Richardson on loan as he is well down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
" He´s one of the players that has been mentioned," Worthington told the club´s official website.
" A lot of these big clubs that can free numbers of personnel are in a lot of competitions. They tend to stick their younger players out in the FA Cup and other competitions.
" He´s one of many that´s been mentioned. We just have to wait and see."
ça pourrait etre interessant pour Kieran un pret.
Eagles wings way to Watford
Watford have completed the arrival of Manchester United youngster Chris Eagles to Vicarage Road in a loan deal.
The Old Trafford starlet featured prominently in the pre-season campaign but has only had limited opportunities since then and was part of the shadow side that flopped against Exeter City in the FA Cup third round.
A regular reserve team player, and occasional captain of that side, the Hertfordshire-born midfielder is returning to his roots after representing The Hornets in his youth.
" He is a versatile lad," said Watford boss Ray Lewington.
" He can play anywhere in midfield."
The 19-year-old will not be eligible for the Carling Cup semi-final second leg with Liverpool but looks set to gain plenty of experience in The Championship and will be involved against promotion-chasing Wigan Athletic at the weekend.
It is a three-month loan deal and he will link up with another former United rookie in striker Danny Webber.
