Florentino Perez a déclaré que « Ronaldinho ne viendra pas cette année au Real Madrid ». Le président madrilène a confirmé que le marché du champion d’Espagne était terminé après la signature de l’Argentin d’Independiante Milito.

« Ronaldinho Gaucho ne viendra pas cette année au Real Madrid ». Florentino Perez a mis fin aux spéculations concernant le Brésilien du Paris Saint-Germain en déclarant que le marché des transferts du champion d’Espagne était bel et bien terminé.

Le Real Madrid a enregistré l’arrivée du défenseur argentin d’Independiante Milito et celle de David Beckham. Manchester United semble donc la seule issue possible pour un transfert de Ronaldinho cette saison.

Paris St-Germain are awaiting a formal written offer from Manchester United for Ronaldinho after the champions confirmed they are willing to increase their bid from £15m to nearer £20m. The Parisian club are anxious to conclude the transfer by tomorrow, when the Brazilian forward is due to report back for a fortnight of pre-season training at Aix-les-Bains. The PSG president Francis Graille yesterday met his Real Madrid counterpart Florentino Perez, a United delegation including Sir Alex Ferguson, and the player´s agent, with negotiations over the fee all but agreed. " One way or another this transfer will be sorted out this week," said Graille, who confirmed there had been a late approach from Chelsea. " We´ve been in contact with the interested clubs every day but it´s not up to me to rush things. United will have to make a significant offer to persuade us to let Ronaldinho go."

Transfert: l´Australien Kewell signe pour cinq ans à Liverpool

SYDNEY ( AFP) - Harry Kewell, L´attaquant interntional australien de Leeds ( 1re div. anglaise) a annoncé mercredi avoir signé un contrat de cinq ans en faveur de Liverpool ( 1re div.).

" J´étais en discussion avec Liverpool depuis six mois", a indiqué l´attaquant international à une chaîne de télévision australienne Channel Nine. " Ils ont de très grands joueurs et des jeunes sensationnels, ce qui fait de Liverpool un club à part et c´est pour cela que j´ai accepté leur offre", a-t-il ajouté.

Le joueur, dont le montant du transfert est estimé à 10 millions d´euros selon la presse anglaise, doit s´envoler jeudi pour la Suisse avec ses nouveaux partenaires pour le stage de pré-saison.

" D´autres clubs m´ont proposé plus d´argent mais ce n´était pas un critère pour moi. J´ai fait mon choix en pensant à ma famille et évidemment à l´entraîneur ( Gérard Houiller)", a également précisé l´Australien.

Kewell ( 24 ans, 13 sélections) jouera la saison prochaine avec le maillot N.7, une tunique portée par les anciens Reds Kevin Keegan et Kenny Dalglish.

Kewell, à Leeds depuis 1995, était convoité par trois autres clubs anglais, Arsenal, Manchester United et Chelsea, et par un club espagnol, le FC Barcelone.

« Le marché des transferts est désormais terminé chez nous et c´est une certitude », a affirmé ainsi le dirigeant madrilène. Une décision qui fait suite aux achats de David Beckham ( Manchester United) et de Gabriel Milito ( Independiente).

« La signature de Milito signifie que Ronaldinho ne viendra pas au Real Madrid cette saison », a poursuivi Florentino Perez.
