Je sais pas si ya pire que ça entre la perte de DWill, le changement de QB en cours de saison car attaque non performante, Rod Smith qui se montre ratraper par l´age apparement, être éliminer des PO à la dernière journée par Frisco sur un FG en prolongations avec une fiche meilleure que certaines équipes de NFC en playoffs.

La nouvelle saison qui a déjà commencé en quelque sorte pour nous débute par une bonne nouvelle pour moi ; Larry Coyer s´est fait virer !! ! youhouuuu ! Monsieur je ne m´adapte jamais n´est plus là !! Monsieur je laisse des futurs superstars comme DJ Williams sur le banc.bref.

On parle de Bob Slowik pour lui succéder.

La liste de nos free agent n´est pas très très fournie (Mike Myers, Kyle Johnson notamment et Carlisle aussi mais apparement Shany a bcp d´espoir en Chris Kuper pour le poste de RG).
En plus, Plummer sera surement coupé, ce qui devrait libérer encore de la masse salariale.

Je pense que les postes où trouver du renfort est urgent sont RB, DE et S.

Des mecs comme Ken Hamlin ou Michael Lewis seront libres pour la position de safety. La draft a l´air également assez fournie pour ce poste : Griffin, Landry, Zbikowsky, Meriweather .

Dwight Freeney, Justin Smith pourraient se retrouver sur le marché aussi pour le poste de DE (quoique à mon avis Freeney va avoir le franchise tag).

Chez les RB, la draft semble aussi assez fournie avec Lynch, Peterson notamment et des mecs comme Jamal Lewis et Ricky Williams (Shany a déjà essayé de les engager) seront sur le marché tout comme Turner, Ahman Green et Chris Brown notamment.

Vous pensez que Plummer pourrait faire l´objet d´un bon trade ? Je trouverais ça cool pour lui et pour les Broncos.

Plummer finira sans doute à Houston (Kubiak) ou à Jacksonville (son ancien coach est là bas maintenant), apres en trade ou FA, on sait pas.

Sur le papier comme ça, ce calendrier est bien plus simple que celui qu´on a eu cette année !

Jim Bates serait le plus proche des candidats au poste vacant de Coyer.
Il a un fils qui est assistant offensif des Broncos.

Il a fait pas mal du bon boulot lors de son passage à Miami... wait and see !

Sinon à noter que Davis ne fait pas partie des 15 finalistes pour l´intronisation au PFHOF. Zimmerman en fait partie en revanche (4ème fois en 5 ans, esperons que ce soit la bonne !)

Shanahan sur Cutler :

That´s the NFL draft, and unless something strange happens, David Carr will be traded around that time.

GM Rick Smith´s toughest job will be creating a market for Carr. I´m guessing he´s going to have to settle for a fifth-round draft pick, but it only takes one motivated buyer to drive the price up.

As for who is going to replace Carr, I think it´ll be Jake Plummer. Problem is, there is a market for him. The Texans probably are going to end up paying more than they´d like to pay.

Sachant que les Jaguars sont dessus, Jaguars et Texans sont 2 rivaux dans la même division, la valeur de Plummer va surement monter, et je pense qu´un des 2 clubs va pousser pour aquérir Jake par trade du coup, "pour être sûr de l´avoir"

Pour moi un 3e tour pourrait être pas mal pour les broncos.

Ouais un 3è tour serait excellent je pense !
Sachant que Carr apparement vaudrait un 5è tour de draft et qu´il est pu trop désirer dans son club. Au contraire, Denver ne serait pas contre garder Plummer, de plus si 2 clubs sont déjà dessus, il vaudrait plutot au minimum un 4è tour ! Après tout dépend si c´est un début ou fin de tour...
Mais Plummer contre un 3è tour de draft, je signe tout de suite !

The Texans are interested in Plummer. Whether through trade or release, Plummer is likely to end up with Kubiak. There is talk the Broncos and Texans will discuss a trade that would send Plummer, Bell and an early-round draft pick to Houston for the No. 8 overall pick and perhaps a player.

Moving up to the No. 8 pick likely would be enough for the Broncos to get Peterson, who could be an instant superstar in Denver.

Who knows if this trade idea will have legs, but it could make sense for both teams.

The Patriots´ decision Friday to stick the franchise tag on cornerback Asante Samuel was surely noted at Dove Valley. The decision means tight end Daniel Graham will likely hit the open market.

Graham will likely be one of the Broncos´ top targets in free agency. He fits the impact mode Denver is looking for. He is a premier blocker and has good hands. He would be a perfect fit with second-year tight end Tony Scheffler.

Graham, whose family lives in Denver, would likely be open to returning home. Still, there will be a lot of competition for him. About a half dozen teams are expected to make an immediate push, but the Broncos could have the inside track, provided they are financially competitive.

The biggest name to keep an eye on, particularly in Denver, is Indianapolis´ Dominic Rhodes. He already has said he would be interested in Denver. Rhodes weighs 203 pounds and is stout, the kind of factors Denver is looking for in a back.

The Broncos´ unrestricted free agents are defensive tackle Michael Myers, guard Cooper Carlisle, linebacker Patrick Chukwurah, defensive lineman Kenny Peterson, receiver Quincy Morgan and linebacker Keith Burns. Myers and Carlisle are the team´s only starters from last season, and both likely will hit the open market.

The Broncos could have interest in New Orleans´ Hollis Thomas or Chicago´s Ian Scott at defensive tackle, and 2006 draft pick Chris Kuper could take over for Carlisle.
Chukwurah is not expected to return. The team likes Morgan as a reserve receiver and he also finished the season strong on kickoff returns.
