j´ai fait une toute petite erreur

vous l´aurez tous compris il s´agissait bien entendu de "la victoire de Denver"

pour leur retour a la maison apres une serie de defaites a l´exterieur les wolves l´ont emporté face aux bulls 99-93

Hinrich et KG ont joué a celui qui etait le plus complet mais c´est finalement les wolves de KG qui l´ont emporté
KG rate le triple double d´une passe et compile 28pts 14rbds et 9passes

Hinrich rate le triple double de 2rbds mais en profite pour battre son record de passes en carriere avec 17 assists
coté bulls c´est egalement nocioni qui a battu son record de points en carriere avec 23pts marqué dont 4/4 a 3pts

Cela dit les deux bulls ont été trop seul
gordon avait bien commencé avec un 6/6 aux tirs dont 2/2 a 3pts mais a enchainé avec un 0/8
de plus il a été handicapé par les fautes tout comme chandler qui n´a pu joué un role dans ce match

sinon coté wolves
tres bon match de Wally qui s´est mis au diapason de KG avec une belle ligne de stats: 25pts 9rbds et 5 passes en plus d´une belle adresse aux LF(tres utile) et a 3pts

a noter quand meme la nette domination des wolves aux rebonds et "seulement" 10 TO
leur deux gros points faibles du debut de saison

Non sérieusement j´ai trouvé qu´ils ont fait un tres bon match et KG a été énorme comme a son habitude (31 points, 15 rebonds de memoire)

je crois qu´on parle de moi

sinon joli match tres plaisant a regarder...
belle domination des wolves au rebonds et peu de TO de la part des wolves (assez rare pour etre souligné mais en 1ere periode il n´ont perdus que 3 ballons,un record cette saison je crois)
sinon tres beau match de KG avec notamment un 14/17 aux tirs
McCants tres adroit aux tirs(assez rare egalement)

Boykins qui nous aide bien avec un 3/16 qui fait mal aux nuggets

la difference s´est faite sur un 18-0 des wolves a la fin du 3eme et debut du 4eme quart alors que les nuggets revenaient dans le match

J´ai vu el match sur canal+ et franchement KG m´a encore une fois étonné il a fait un match énorme avec très peu de dechet.Les Wolves ont bien géré la partie en creusant l´éccart petit à petit pour finalment s´imoposer sans trop de problème c´était un match plutot sympa!

c´est vrai que c´etait agreable a suivre

Rumors swirl on potential Timberwolves deal
Michael Olowokandi appears to be on the block, although Dwane Casey said he hasn´t played lately because of matchups.

After Timberwolves practice Sunday at Target Center, in a hurry to catch a plane to New York, center Michael Olowokandi declined to talk with reporters. He left the locker room and headed down the hall.
Would it be one of the last times he would make this walk?

A report in Sunday´s Star Tribune suggested that Olowokandi was part of a potential Wolves trade that was, if not imminent, at least brewing.

Reached at his home Sunday, owner Glen Taylor acknowledged that the Wolves were attempting to make a deal to upgrade the team.

"I would tell you, we´re out there actively talking to other teams," Taylor said. "But we don´t have anything going right yet."

After practice Sunday, Kevin McHale, Wolves vice president of basketball operations, wouldn´t comment on any trade talk. But he said he is always looking for ways to improve the team.

"We´ve lost a lot of close games this year," said McHale, when asked if he was content with the makeup of the team right now. "I think when you do that, you lose some confidence. ... We´ve lost so many close games. But our defense is very solid. I would like to add a little more scoring for us to have a little more punch in those games."

On Friday, ESPN reported that Orlando was seeking a trade with the Wolves involving Wally Szczerbiak in exchange for suspended Magic guard Steve Francis. But in the Sunday report Taylor said the Wolves were not interested in Francis. Taylor also said he didn´t think the Wolves were going to be the team successful in working a deal for Indiana´s Ron Artest.

If the Wolves are indeed looking to increase scoring, it would seem unlikely they would part with Szczerbiak, the team´s second-leading scorer.

Speculation surrounds Olowokandi chiefly because he has fallen out of the starting lineup and didn´t play in the past two games.

Coach Dwane Casey has been adamant that the reason Olowokandi has sat is matchups; Chicago and Denver -- the Wolves´ past two opponents -- played with small lineups.

"Michael has done nothing wrong," Casey said. "We still need him. He´ll have matchups in the next two games."

Neither McHale nor Taylor would comment on Olowokandi.

But it´s clear the Wolves have not gotten what they hoped when they signed Olowokandi to a three-year, $16.2 million contract before the 2003-04 season. In the final season of that deal, Olowokandi has a $5.9 million salary this season. He would be attractive in a trade with a team that considers itself out of the running this season, one willing to acquire Olowokandi primarily to be able to use that salary slot next season and willing to give the Wolves a player in return for that.

Meanwhile, Casey has to figure out how to get the most out of the lineup he has right now.

"I don´t know what´s going on, and I don´t want to know," Casey said about a potential trade. "As a coach, I´m prepared to coach the team that I have. I´m happy with the team I have. I like each player, I have confidence in each player."

si Minnesota arrive a transferer Kandi , ce sera un boulet en moins . L´ancien epouvantail n°1 de la draft prend bcp d´argent pour peu de rendemment . Des joueurs comme Mark Blount ou Theo Ratliff qui jouent peu dans leurs clubs pourraient etre utiles auw Wolves . .

Blount a enorme salaire il me semble

Apparement un echange serait en cours entre Minnesota et Boston . Olowokandi pourrait partir aux Celtics en echange de Mark Blount . Mais il est possible qu´une 3eme equipe entre dans le deal .

J´avai pas fais expres d´evoquer un echange Blount-Kandi il y a quelques jours , mais il est evident que Minnesota va tout faire pour se separer de son pivot .

Iverson averaged a league-high 40.0 points on .539 shooting, while posting 9.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game to lead the Sixers to a 2-1 week. He recorded back-to-back 40-point games for the third time this season, with 41 points against Seattle on Jan. 9 and 46 points versus Utah on Jan. 11, and had his tenth double-double of the season with 33 points and 10 assists in a triple-overtime win over Boston on Jan. 13.

Blount sera peut etre mieux mais c´est pas non plus un foudre de guerre mais au moins il n´a pas l´ego surdimensionné de kandi et assurera plus facilement le role de joueur de l´ombre pour faire le "sale boulot" dans la raquette
