Malaga in shock Saha link
Malaga have been linked with an unlikely move for Manchester United striker Louis Saha.
Malaga lie third bottom of La Primera and have the second worst goalscoring record in the league.
Malaga boss Gregorio Manzano is desperate to bolster his strike-force during the transfer window and is believed to have enquired about Saha.
The Spanish giants are thought to have made a cheeky bid to take Saha on loan for the remainder of the season.
Their attempts to sign Saha seem almost certain to be given a short shrift from United as they do not want to lose any players in the transfer window.
Paris Saint Germain made enquiries for Saha earlier this month, but United boss Sir Alex Ferguson ruled out any move.
Despite being currently sidelined through injury, Saha still has a big part to play for United in the second half of the season with Ruud van Nistelrooy expected to be sidelined until February.

Foot - ANG : Rooney suspendu trois matches

Sevilla deny Ramos bids
Sevilla have denied receiving any offers for talented teenage full back Sergio Ramos.
The 18-year-old has burst on to the scene this term, cementing a first-team berth at Sevilla and breaking into the Spain Under-21 set-up.
His progress is understood to have caught the attention of both Arsenal and Manchester United who were thought to have enquired about his availability.
Indeed, the player´s father, and agent, claimed recently that Arsenal were close to sealing a deal for the youngster earlier in the season.
However, Sevilla president Jose Maria Del Nido insists the club have not received any formal offers for Ramos, and insisted they were looking to strengthen not weaken their squad.
" We have not received any news about a club getting in contact to make us an offer," he stated.
" Next season we will be stronger without doubt."
O´Shea And Rooney To Miss Boro Match
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that John O´Shea will miss Saturday´s trip to Middlesbrough due to a thigh injury sustained in the win at Aston Villa.
The Irish international is expected to be out of action for around two weeks after he was substituted on the hour-mark at Villa Park.
That misfortune was somewhat tempered, though, by the news that both Gary Neville and Eric Djemba-Djemba will be available for selection after recovering from a flu virus.
”Both are back in training and will be okay for the game,” confirmed Fergie at his pre-match press conference. “Gary had his first training session on Wednesday and he also did a bit of Thursday. So both of them will be fit for the match.”
United will, however, be without Wayne Rooney who begins a three-match ban for violent conduct following his altercation with Bolton defender Tal Ben Haim on Boxing Day.
When asked for his thoughts on the violent conduct charge levelled at Rooney, Ferguson said simply: “We’re not surprised as we feel we’re viewed differently from other clubs.
”The violent conduct charge amazes me because I think every man and his dog would agree it’s not violent conduct. And why, if it is violent conduct, are they charging Haim as well? I can’t understand that. If it’s violent conduct then Haim should not be charged.
”But he has been charged which therefore means they [the FA] see him as being guilty of diving and bringing the game into disrepute, and I think everyone would agree with that. So why then has Wayne been given a violent conduct charge?
”It was no more than a push in the face; there was no swing of the arm or anything like that. There was an incident during the Chelsea – Aston Villa match where two players slapped each other in the face but the referee just had a word with them and got on with it.
”The system is flawed. And because it [the Rooney case] is a closed session we’re not allowed to appeal which seems to be unfair and immoral.”
Before turning his attention to the New Year’s Day trip to Teesside, Fergie reflected on United’s visit to Villa Park earlier in the week, a match he labelled as the “hardest away game of the season.”
“We always feel Villa Park is a tricky place to go to,” he explains. “We’ve got a good record down there but they’re always really difficult tight games.
”The present Villa team is a very energetic and emerging young side and we said before the game that they play good football, and they did that.
”So we had to perform really well which we did, apart from the last fifteen minutes when David [O’Leary] put on his front four and threw everything at us.
”Nevertheless the team showed their character and there was no way we were going to lose the match.”
“Middlesbrough will be another tricky game for us,” continued the Boss. “They’ve been doing fantastically well this season.
”Steve’s [McClaren] built his own team and brought in seasoned professionals like Parlour, Reiziger, Viduka and Hasselbaink who are all experienced pros. So we know it’ll be another tough game.”

Il me semble que si
Man United
A slow start for United has made it tough for them in the title challenge — but that is also to do with the form of leaders Chelsea.
United have come back from further behind to win the title, but it will take all of Sir Alex Ferguson’s genius to make up the points on Jose Mourinho’s side.
Perhaps the Champions League is more on Ferguson’s mind, but they could still worry both Chelsea and Arsenal.
Predicted Position: 3rd ( original 3rd) — The top three now is likely to be how it finishes, but United will push to the end and could still make an impact.
Star Man: Cristiano Ronaldo ( 7.0) — United’s most consistent player and rarely lets his team down — a major star in European football for many years to come.
One to Watch: Jonathan Spector ( N/A) — Has not had his chance and won’t get it at Old Trafford after being loaned to Blackburn for the rest of the season,
New one to Watch: Ryan Giggs ( 6.6) — Has hit an unbelievable run of form and along with Paul Scholes has really got himself going after the past few weeks.
