The most common errors will happen for the following reasons:
1) " Illegal instruction" error happens because the demo is not compatible
with some athlon processors. This has been fixed for the full game, and an
updated demo will be release soon.
2) DirectX 9 is not installed. See:

3) The video card does not meet the minimum requirements. For information
about the games requirements see:

4) The video card drivers are out of date. Go to www.nvidia.com or
www.ati.com for drivers updates for nvidia and ati cards, otherwise contact
your hardware vendor.
