Porto have told the Portuguese Stock Exchange that no club has yet met the release clause for Andre Villas-Boas, amid reports he is set to join Chelsea.
The Portuguese champions have already confirmed that their coach has a €15million (£13.2m) release clause in his contract, and if that is met they cannot stop him leaving.
And Portuguese reports insist that Villas-Boas has already agreed terms with Chelsea ahead of a move to West London.
But Porto have stated that no agreement is in place, commenting: "Futebol Clube do Porto, hereby informs the market that the coach Andre Villas-Boas, as well as several players in the squad, has a termination clause.
"To date, this company has not received any communication that this clause will be exercised."
Chelsea have also told the Portuguese press that they will not comment on the reports that Villas-Boas is set to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge.
"We will not comment on the speculation over the name of the new Chelsea coach," a spokesman told agency Lusa.
