Luis Suarez Banned 8 Games: Why the FA's Ruling Is Rubbish
The FA’s ruling is sickening, it’s unjust and it’s a power trip from an association who shamelessly and frivolously appealed Wayne Rooney’s assault on Miodrag Džudović.
John Terry and Steve Finnan were reported to the police by members of the public for alleged vilification.
Not one member of the public reported Luis Suárez to the police.
Hours after El Clásico had finished, Real Madrid released video evidence to indict Sergio Busquets of racially vilifying Marcelo.
Hours after QPR defeated Chelsea, there was video evidence catching Terry red-handed in using racially vilifying language towards Anton Ferdinand.
In the biggest match of the week that is Liverpool vs. Manchester United, it’s mystifying how there was no video evidence to definitively support Patrice Evra’s claims.
Especially when Evra claims Luis Suárez racially vilified him not once, not twice, not thrice, but 10 times.
Suárez is a magnet for controversy.
After all, he’s bitten someone, he’s a diver, he’s a hated figure amongst Ghanaians and he gave the middle-finger salute to Fulham supporters.
He is to the cameraman what Kim Kardashian is to the paparazzi.
I guess the cameramen were taking toilet breaks when Suárez racially vilified Evra 10 times.
Not one Manchester United player or staff corroborated Evra’s claims.
The only person who corroborated Evra’s claims was a Liverpool player—Suárez.
According to Mike Collett at Reuters, Suárez explained:
“I did not insult him. It was just a way of expressing myself. I called him something his teammates at Manchester call him, and even they were surprised by his reaction.”
The common school of thought is Suárez called Evra a negrito.
Gus Poyet opined on the word:
“It is not offensive. Such people are part of our society. We will defend them, go to war with them, share everything with them, and at the same time use that word.”
The word seems inoffensive since Chicharito and Dani Pacheco have used the word openly.
J'ai mis la moitié de l'article, en espérant que tous les chelsix, mancunix et autres "lol suarez et un gro racist bi1 fais pour lui xD" qui comprennent un minimum l'anglais prennent conscience de la situation
