Alors la, j´ai vraiment du mal a comprendre. Il est considéré comme une star dans son pays, et c´est un joueur vraiment talutueux qui aurait sa place dans n´importe quel grand club. Il aurait été très bénéfique pour MU en tant que milieu offensif a la place de Fletcher. Mais non, il s´en va a Portsmouth ce con.

C´est un surtout un individualiste forcené qui travaille pas pour le collectif, un joueur arrogant et fantasque assez irrégulier, t´as pas du le voir jouer souvent pour dire ça ^^

Ca m´étonne pas qu´il "finisse" à Portsmouth car il en perd même peu à peu sa place en sélection...

Le milieu de terrain du FC Barcelone, Anderson Luis de Souza dit Deco (28 ans) intéresse Manchester United. En effet, le club anglais, désirant modifier son milieu de terrain la saison prochaine, recherche le nouveau Paul Scholes et pense l´avoir trouvé en la personne de Deco. Selon le quotidien espagnol As, les dirigeants des Red Devils auraient même approché le président du Barça, Joan Laporta. Désirant recruter Thierry Henry, Laporta pourrait laisser filer Deco, ce qui permettrait au club espagnol de gagner de l´argent qui servirait à faire venir le Français.

Rio ready for midfield role

Rio Ferdinand says he is willing to continue in a midfield role for Manchester United, as Sir Alex Ferguson continues to flounder in his search for reinforcements.

The need for a new midfield enforcer has become abundantly clear after a run of injuries at Old Trafford, and Ferdinand filled in with aplomb in the 3-0 win over Wolves at the weekend.

The Red Devils have been trying unsuccessfully to sign new players such as Milan´s Johann Vogel and Reggina´s Carlos Paredes, and with just hours to go of the transfer window it appears that Ferdinand may be asked to fulfil the unfamiliar role once more against Blackburn on Wednesday.

Wolves star Paul Ince also led the calls for the former Leeds man to play the holding role for England in the World Cup, and Ferdinand admits he would be happy to adapt for both club and country if needs be.

"You have to be able to fit in all over the park if it benefits the team," Ferdinand told MUTV.

"On Sunday, we had a lot of injuries and the manager also decided Darren Fletcher needed a rest, so I went in there.

"It was an interesting, new experience but who knows whether I could step up to that position against an international side.

"I am a centre half by trade and ideally I would prefer to play there.

"But I will play anywhere for Manchester United or England and if the manager calls upon me to do that job again, I will."

Deco ca serait bien , il a 25 ans pour info et non 28...

Mikel makes plea to United

John Obi Mikel has begged Manchester United to completely abandon their bid to bring him to Old Trafford.

The Nigerian youngster has been the subject of one of the most protracted, and tiresome, transfer sagas of all-time after signing a contract with United to leave Lyn Oslo.

The midfielder wants to join Chelsea, where he will pick up a greater salary, and United are being urged to back down, despite Sir Alex Ferguson suggesting the teenager does still want to head for Manchester.

It is becoming clearer and clearer that this is not the case, but United are unlikely to want to merely allow a player they have signed to head for their Premiership rivals.

"For the last nine months, Mikel has been the subject of legal proceedings, complaints before Fifa and media attention," said a statement from solicitors Russells, who act on the African´s behalf.

"He is caught in the middle of a dispute between Manchester United and Chelsea. He is intent that the situation should change.

"Mikel is very concerned that Manchester United have failed to accept his decision as to where he wants to play or to enter into any sort of constructive dialogue to resolve this dispute.

"He has already put himself in the hands of the footballing authorities and calls upon them to intervene, to which end we are willing to meet whenever, wherever and with whoever, in order to break this deadlock.

"Whatever agenda the respective football clubs involved in this dispute have, they must not be allowed to damage Mikel´s career."

Meanwhile, Lyn have reported agent John Shittu to the police for falsifying a contract last April.

Lyn´s lawyer Cato Shiotz suggested Shittu claims a contract is from 2004 when it should be dated a year later, and that they want a "thorough investigation" into the allegation.

Je pense que les supporters de MU lui ferons l´acceuil qu´il mérite quand il viendra jouer à Old Trafford avec Chelsea.

Mon beau frère me bassine avec Mikel depuis le début du mois de janvier comme quoi un jeune nigérian arrive à MU et il signe à Chelsea, l´arnaque

Il a pas signé à Chelsea mais ça me parait inévitable, Sir Alex ne va pas garder Mikel s´il ne veut pas venir et les supporters ne risquent pas de l´acceuillir à bras ouvert après tout ce qui c´est passé...

Pourtant il me semblait qu´un transfert avait été conclu pour l´ouverture du mercato...
Mais c´est vrai que si Mikel veut finalement aller à Chelsea autant lui laisser ce choix mais je pense qu´il aura moins de chance de jouer avec les blues qu´avec les red devils.

Son contrat est avec MU mais il veut signer à Chelsea, qui lui propose plus d´argent et propose sans doute une énorme prime à son agent Shittu...

Effectivement à Chelsea il brisera sa carriére vu l´embouteillage au milieu (Makelele, Essien, Lampard, Maniche, Joe Cole, Lassina Diarra). Il va nous faire ce que d´autres (SWP, Scott Parker, Jarosik, Wayne Bridge...) ont fait avant lui et regrettent déjà.
