- The graphics are amazing, it's awesome to see all of my favorite characters in next-gen, high-resolution graphics.
- All of the girls are so incredibly hot and their breasts are so big and beautiful.
- The CaS system is very detailed and user-friendly, all of the CaSes look just as good if not better than the main characters, and it's so much fun to dress girls up in sexy outfits and then make them as busty as I want.
- The gameplay is super fun, I recently reached over 1,000 attacks launched and over 1,000 attacks blocked, and I am still having a blast fighting enemies.
Dislikes:
- The Story Mode is very bare-bones. SC3 had a wonderful story mode that set it apart from other fighting games...most fighting games just show you two characters fighting in a stage with no explanation whatsoever as to why they wanted to be there, how they got there, or why they are fighting. SC3 actually told the story of what the characters were up to, why they wanted to travel to certain lands, how they wound up getting into fights, and even let you pick their choices! It was amazing. But SC4's story mode is just an Arcade Mode with a text intro, two very short cutscenes, and an ending cutscene.
- No more ending cutscene interactivity.
- No equivalent of Chronicles of the Sword; no side mode or side adventure, just Story Mode, Arcade Mode, and Tower of Lost Souls.
- Tower of Lost Souls is GODDAMN ANNOYING. I spent 6 hours on one floor alone. It's not "challenging" it's just unfair, repetitive, and requires trial and error to get through. It's one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to experience in any game I can remember. I'm never touching it again after I beat it and get all the Treasures from it.
- Almost No Unlockables - Everything is purchase-able from the beginning of the game, with the exception of Starkiller, stages, and some equipment that must be earned in the Tower's Treasure Chests.
- No more unique CaS fighting styles, you can only make clones of the main characters.
- When putting armor on your CaS, the equipment that you choose affects your CaS's Attack/Defense/HP/Skills, so instead of picking armor based on what you personally like, you will wind up picking armor based on the improvements it gives. If you dress up a CaS anyway you like, you will get a weak and unbalanced character (who looks cool), but if you pick according to what gives the most stats, you will get a strong, balanced character (who is wearing a bunch of weird hats and masks and armor that doesn't match).
- The AI is even more cheap and unfair than in SC3, always reacting IMMEDIATELY after you've pressed a button and blocking / sidestepping / guard impacting / throwing you / giving you a ring out.
- Aside from Vader, Starkiller, Hilde, and Algol, the rest of the 'additions' are clones/re-skins.
- Many of the stages / music tracks are just re-designed / re-mixed versions of the same ones from Soul Calibur 3.
- Some of the endings are lame/pointless/confusing.

- The Apprentice is a kick-ass character, he owns so hard.
Dislikes:
- Vader isn't as fun as I thought he would be.
- After 30 hours of unlocking equipment, I've seen no thong for the female CASes to wear
- I HAVE found a thong for the male CASes to wear DX
