Ils ont été sympa chez Securom, on était pas au courant mais on a eu le droit à un cadeau bonus en installant la démo : un rootkit.

Pas vraiment surprenant de la part de Sony (eh oui Securom appartient à Sony), vu leurs antécédents avec ce genre d´histoires

En plus des problèmes liés à l´activation valable seulement 2 fois (cf article en 1ere page sur

Je ne suis pas sûr qu´il s´agisse réellement d´un rootkit. C´est simplement une entrée suspect dans la base de registre mais venant d´une protection c´est pas forcément étonnant.

Pour la définition: Un « rootkit » est un programme ou un ensemble de programmes permettant à un pirate de maintenir -dans le temps- un accès frauduleux à un système informatique. Le pré requis du rootkit est une machine « déjà » piratée. (

mdr, je viens d´aller vérifier, l´entrée se situe dans la clé de securom ... -_-´ j´ai sauté au plafond pour rien ...
n´empèche, ça reste dans le registre après avoir désinstallé le jeu...

ça fonctionne, suppréssion intégrale de securom ( fichiers et clés dans le registre) j´ai remplacé les liens morts du topic original.

par contre, il faut savoir que securom se réinstalle à chaque fois que vous utilisez un programme qui l´intègre.

Merci TheSlider, j´avais vraiment envie de jouer à Bioshock mais là j´ai encore plus envie de virer Securom...

Je m´étais servi de Process Explorer toute à l´heure, et effectivement la démo de Bioshock ne se lance plus maintenant

Entre Starforce et Securom, je commence à me demander lequel des 2 est le pire...

Et ça ne concerne que cet outil heureusement : )
T´as éssayé de redémarer après avoir utilise P.E ? ( " since previous reboot" ).

ne cherchez à supprimer securom que si vous ne jouez plus à aucun jeu l´utilisant. Sinon, il reviendra comme un grand reprendre sa place.
