J´ai trouvé ça sur un forum :
" For your information, that 120 million polygons is a number that can only be achieved when a game has no effects what so ever. No particle effects, textures, bump mapping...none of it. Not even anti-aliasing. And no AI. Those numbers assume for simply rendering an object. It would be like believing that a PS2 could actually churn out the 66 million polygons that Sony listed it at. In reality, once you program certain effects and artificial intelligence you have less ram to store a rendered polygon image on. So achieving 120 million in real time is impossible. If it could do that in real time then Halo would have no slow down at all because I assure you that Halo does not push 120 million polygons with all those insanely detailed effects. Furthermore, Nintendo simply decided to give gamers numbers that are more likely to appear in a real time situation rather then in a non game situation like Sony and MS. Even Factor 5 ( Makers of Star Wars Rogue Leader) said they were pulling out something like 20 million polygons from the cube when they made Rogue Leader. The XBOX´s actual real time performance is more along the lines of 35 million polygons with full effects. "
