• When I try (and I really stress the word try) to watch any sort of televised wrestling product I always find myself struggling to want more. I want to feel something. I want to be able to think. A lot of people they'd like to shut their brain off and just be entertained.

• I think we're gonna have this nice balance of both thought-provoking entertainment and also just kind of the mindless entertainment where it's like popcorn wrestling much like if you watch "The Raid" or a Hong Kong kung-fu movie. I think we're going to have all forms of entertainment blended seamlessly into one show. That's the goal anyway.

• I think you're going to see a little bit of what we do with BTE with the storylines blending in together and I think you're going to see the best quality of wrestling and I think you're going to see a lot of new concepts of pro wrestling too. So it's not just going to be one style it's going to be a myriad of styles. You're not going to see one type of storytelling you're going to see a bunch of different types of storytelling including cinematic-style storytelling. It's going to be something very new and for some people that's going to be a turn-off because they want to see a certain type and they want to stick with it. That being said, AEW might not be for you but if you want to see a smorgasbord of just pure entertainment it'll be the brand for you.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who recently signed with All Elite Wrestling, appeared on WFAN Radio in New York City earlier today and said AEW will have a weekly two-hour live TV show that premieres in October.

JR did not reveal the timeslot or the name for the AEW TV show, and he refused to elaborate on what network will carry the program, but we will keep you updated. Ross did say the AEW TV show will air on a major network that we all have access to.

"[AEW] is overwhelming for me," Ross said. "To be 67 years old and be anointed the voice of a brand that's gonna be debuting in October on national television on a major cable network, which can't be named now. When people hear what network we're going on, they're gonna be doubly excited. It's a network we can all find."

Ross also said AEW is going for a more athletic presentation compared to what we see on TV from other promotions these days.

"I think what they're shooting for is a more athletic presentation," JR revealed. "It will hopefully be less eye rolling than the sophomore drama class trying to convince you in a 10 minute promo of anything they're saying. It's too long. Our audience can't handle that."

As we've noted, Ross signed a three-year deal with AEW and will make his commentary debut at Double Or Nothing on May 25, but he will also serve as a Senior Adviser to the company. His contract was called "the most lucrative deal in pro wrestling commentary history" in the AEW press release.

D'après le weekly Puroresu, Hikaru Shida aurait signé avec l'AEW, aucune idée si c'est juste pour une apparition à la Yuka Sakazaki / AJA Kong ou bel et bien un contrat sur la durée pour l'actuelle championne de la OZ ACADEMY

J'imagine que ça sera pour une seule apparition

Pour l'instant rien n'a été officiellement annoncé mais Jim Ross à récemment déclaré que le show va passer sur une grosse chaine TV donc probablement

https://twitter.com/MAKAI03702217/status/1115575099686440960 C'est bien un contrat d'exclusivité qui semble attendre Hikaru Shida à l'AEW, mais seulement à partir de novembre prochain. Très bon coup pour la promotion et même pour elle pour le coup, de ce que j'ai compris elle a un très bon niveau d'anglais et devrais assez facilement se faire un grand nom là bas. Je suis content pour elle, je pense pas qu'elle avait encore grand chose à faire au Japon où elle semblait avoir fait le tour (championne à la OZ, à la WAVE, divers titre à la Ice Ribbon, à la Sendai..)
