I also got the E-Mail for the delivery on the 17th and as long as they have stock I'm sure it could still work out. After doing some research on your "evening delivery" terms it seems as this is a same-day service. As such, if they "ship" sometime during the day I should still be able to receive it tonight at my Amazon Locker.

While I understand that some of you are freaking out, I'm sure Amazon will figure this out. I'm a frequent shopper at amazon.de and also a software engineer who understands the logics behind the amazon software. I'm fairly sure that if we would have a problem the order would have been delayed already. As far as I'm personally concerned, I'm still within a time frame in which I would receive it on time.

I also want my new toys, no doubt. But I wouldn't mind if I have to wait for another week. The strix for 803€ is a very good price, if that's what we get in the end, we'll all be winners! But if you want to be totally safe, and must have the GPU as soon as possible, do try to score another order today, the FE or a custom card on any other store.

I'm active on reddit and initially the amazon.fr preorder was posted there. Someone mentioned a french megathread with information so I scouted the web and found JVC. I'm also lusting for information and status updates on the amazon.fr orders, so this is the place to be. ;-)

Bon je commence à me dire ça sent pas bon pour livraison aujourd'hui. Toujours pas expédié...

Je suis la situation des 3080 même si j'ai commandé une 3090, mais effectivement je pense qu'il faudra patienter une ou deux semaines supplémentaires pour que les Strix soient réellement dispos, en tout cas d'après les commentaires de la personne d'ASUS.
Pour ceux qui voulaient absolument une Strix la préco Amazon semble rester un bon plan vu le prix (si les stocks suivent).
Par contre pour ceux qui voulaient une carte rapidement peu importe la marque, c'est une autre histoire. Il faudra jouer des coudes à 15h, mais pas certain que beaucoup de modèles/stocks soient disponibles dès aujourd'hui.

Pour les commentaires du mec Facebook, dans les commentaires il dit que c’est au US et il ne sait pas pour les autres régions même si pour lui ça sera la même partout
