"Why do people leave their native countries ? Give examples
First of all, there are several various reasons why people want to leave their native countries. All of theses are important and all of theses can exist our system.
They can be evading from their countries for political reasons (such as a totalitarian regime) as Gerard Depardieu who leaved France because he was not okay with the ideas of the new president. In the great of majority of thoses cases, they feel threatened to death because for their religion or their revolutionary opinions. We call them political refugees.
Moreover, I think there are migrants who escape from their country in order to avoid facing war or other extreme violence situations that could threaten their life or their family's.
Besides, they can leave their native country for economical reasons such as hunger or poverty get a lot of people to try and find a job abroad, hoping to offer a better life quality to heir beloved ones. I am thinking in particular of people who lived in poor countries, like countries of Africa. However, some people can leave rich countries to go in a country which is it even more, for example, to live american dream.
Natural disasters (floods, droughts, tornados, volcanic eruptions...) force people to evacuate their lands and find another place to live.
I belive that many people also choose to leave their country because thy like to discover different cultures and ways of living (painters, musicians or actors are good examples)."
Il manque la conclusion et une idée que je n'arrive pas à retranscrire en anglais ("certaines personnes sont obligés de quitter leur pays à cause de leur travail, par exemple pour les ingénieurs, l'industrie automobile est meilleure en Allemagne qu'en France, ou encore "médecins sans frontières" qui parcourent le globe pour aider les plus démunis."
