Elden ring by the looks of it ties the save file to your steam id so you won't be able to share save files with different versions of the game. At least with my limited testing.
In order to use the same save file with the steam version and cracked version you can do the following steps bellow.
Cracked version is handy as it disables all online features such as invasions and has faster loading times since it doesn't login to their servers.
1 - Open steam and go to "view my profile"
2 - Right click anywhere on empty space and click "copy page URL".
3 - Open https://profile.tf in your browser and paste into the search box. Should be similiar to (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/12345678910111213/)
4 - You will see a few IDs "Steam ID 64", "Steam ID 32", "Steam ID 3". Note down the "Steam ID 64" as we will use it to verify if the save file will be in the same location as your steam save.
5 - Copy "Steam ID 3" it will look something like "[U:1:222222222]" we only need the last bits so in this case just copy "222222222".
6 - Open "ELDEN RING\Game\steam_emu.ini" in any text editor ( in the pirated version ) and replace "#AccountId=0" with "AccountId=222222222" same number from step 5.
7 - Launch elden ring and get to the main menu you should see a save icon spinning. Now its time to verify if the save location is correct.
8 - Open "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing" in explorer and check that the folder name matches your "Steam ID 64" from step 4. If it does, now you can use both cracked and legit elden ring versions interchangeably, they will pick up the same save.
