My current setup is component cable to a HD TV, the result is okay but the image doesn't fill the entire screen. I have black borders around the entire screen :/ I wouldn't mind if the image would fill horizontally.

I've tried playing with the overscan settings in the TVs menu but nothing helps. Is there any device I can use to maybe upscale the resolution or something so that the output fits the screen.

I've seen products like the OSSC would this be able to achieve what I want?
