04/19/2004. Inter striker Christian Vieri says he would be happy to leave the club if he was no longer wanted.
The Italian international stole the headlines yesterday after refusing to sit on the bench against Bologna.
He has been linked with a move to Juventus of late, and said: " I was happy at Juve but I´m also content here with the Moratti family. If he tells me that he has plans that don´t include me then there won´t be a problem."
Meanwhile, Inter coach Alberto Zaccheroni has denied that he allowed Vieri to pull out of the squad.
" He said that he wasn´t going to be a substitute," said Zac.
" I made a decision but I want to underline that I didn´t give him permission to miss the game.
" I now want to clarify the situation with him but I must always look after the interest of the team."
