Lyon confirm Baros interest Lyon´s president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that the French Champions are interested in signing Milan Baros and has stated that current boss Gerard Houllier and the clubs sporting director are on the case. Clearly keen on the player, Aulas says:
" Even if we want to remain as discreet as possible on our recruitment, I can confirm that Baros is definitely one of our objectives. Bernard Lacombe ( Director of football) and Gerard ( Houllier) will attend the Czech Republic´s next match."
Baros hasn´t tried to hide his frustration at being continually substituted for the Reds and has openly said he´ll look to leave in the summer. It is estimated that Liverpool would want in the region of £8m for the player.
It´s strange that his old boss is looking like one of the front runners to grab his signature, as Baros was constantly mouthing off how unhappy he was under Houllier as well!
