Real Madrid have ruled out allowing Javier Portillo leave El Santiago Bernabeu after the young striker was linked with a move to Tottenham.
Reports from Spain claim that Spurs and French duo Marseille and Nantes have made enquiries for the prolific striker.
Portillo has frequently been linked with a move away from Real mainly due to his lack of first-team opportunities.
The Spanish Under-21 international is highly regarded within the corridors of Real and they do not want to sell the youngster.
The 21-year-old, who is tipped for a big future in the game, only signed a new deal at Real last October which keeps him at the club until 2007 and they have inserted a get-out clause of €36 million ( £24 million) into his contract.
Portillo is thought to be keen on a loan move away from Madrid as he looks to start playing on a regular basis to help him develop as a player.
Real Betis tried to sign him last season and it is thought that they have made his signing one of their top priorities for the summer.
Portillo could find himself further down the pecking order at Real next season with Fernando Morientes returning to Los Merengues from his loan spell at Monaco.
il est dit qu´on pourrait ce le faire preter pour qu´il aquiert du temps de jeu que si morientes reste au club sinon c´est toufu
