Race hots up for Prso
by Alex Dunn
According to reports emanating from the French media, Marseille are the latest club to express an interest in Monaco striker Dado Prso.
The powerful striker, who has impressed in the UEFA Champions League this term, is out of contract in the summer and is now set to leave the Principality.
Marseille first expressed an interest in Prso at the beginning of last season, but if they are to secure the services of the hit-man, they will have to beat off competition from a host of other clubs.
Premiership sides Bolton and Birmingham City have previously expressed a desire to land the Croatian international, along with Milan, Besiktas, Stuttgart and Leverkusen.
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce was known to be at the Stade Louis II on Tuesday night to watch the 29-year-old during the French outfit´s sensational 3-1 victory over Real Madrid.
The hit-man endured a quiet night despite his team´s heroics and was substituted on the hour mark, but Allardyce is nevertheless keen to lure him to the Reebok Stadium for next season.
Meanwhile, Prso has revealed he is looking forward to a trip to Chelsea.
´´We will go to London which is great´,´ said Prso. ´´I don’t know the city and everyone has told me to visit it, so it is a good opportunity.
´´It is magnificent to go to London to play a UEFA Champions League semi-final.´´
Et maintenant on est sur Prso ! J´ai rien contre lui, mais un mec plus mobile serait sans doûte mieux. Enfin c´est vrai que j´ai du mal à me faire une idée sur son jeu.
