Modified Import Player For PAL PS1. (SCPH 102B)

Downloaded from www.psxservices.co.uk

Since Feb.1999 we have been manufacturing, supplying, and fitting quality Mod Chips for the PlayStation games console in our local area. Supplying both the ´Traders´ as well as the local individuals.

Come May 2000, things had grown to a point that we felt we could offer the same quality products and services on the Internet and the psxservices web site was born.

Our chips allow you to play both your original and back up copies of your games as well as imports. Using only the latest codes in our chips your console is sure to be bang up to date.

We can program any code that you want however we tend to use the latest Multi Mode code because it is by far the most versatile and reliable code around.

Our chips can be fitted into any PlayStation inc. the PS one with no messy link wires to add.
All our chips are tested before fitting and dispatch to ensure you don´t have any problems.

Our frequently updated web site feature clear instructions and photographs to make installing your Mod Chip as easy as possible.

If you don´t fancy fitting a Mod Chip yourself then we can do the work for you.
We also stock Pre Chipped PS ones which again feature the latest Mod Chip code available at the time.

To Play Imports on the new PS1 console you first need a Modchip like the Multimode 2.01 chip wired in 4 wire mode. This will allow the Import Player CD to boot.

Without the Import Player CD you will only be able to boot originals and backups with the same video standard as your own.

If you have a PAL PS1 then you need this modified version of the Import Player.

If you have an NTSC format PS1 then you need the original Import Player which you can get from http://www.xianaix.com/implayer/

To use it is simple ...

Insert the disk and boot the machine to the menu ...

When you get to the main menu, set Video mode to OFF as the PAL modified version of Import player works better if you set the video mode to OFF. (some games will not load if you set it to PAL or NTSC) Though don´t be afraid to play around with it.

Don´t make any other alterations to the settings and choose START GAME ... the screen will now say "Insert game CD and press any button to boot" this is what you should do ... open the door swap the disk and press any key ....

That is all that is involved .. Play your Imports !!

Although we are supplying the disk we were not responsible for the coding on this disk.

Import Player is freely available throughout the Internet, although we did modify it so
that it will work on the PS one.

Please view the Credits within Import Player to see who done all the hard work!!!!

Best Regards
Greg
