Yup, that´s right! After the release of the 1.2 patch yesterday now the SDK will follow very soon. After a longer conversation with one of CryTek´s employees this noon I learned that SDK is scheduled for early next week.
Some of you already may know that the readme file of patch 1.2 contains a link to www.crymod.com. This will become your portal for the current and upcoming CryTek games. It´s an official CryTek page which we helped develop and it will be launched along with the SDK. That should be a reason for the sceptics among you to smile a little. As soon as the page and SDK are launched you will find news here immediately.
Further more CryTek works under high pressure on a new official map pack which will be available there soon after the launch.
So much for the current situation. We hope that these good news brighten up your mood a little and the strike of the mod community will find an end. For those of you who can´t wait, have a visit at www.crymod.com to see for yourself what´s the status of the page. Until the page is launched go ahead and spend some quality time with patch 1.2.
