The Pterodon team has prepared a new patch v1.61 for all the Vietcong and Vietcong Fist Alpha fans. You will need to install patch v1.60 to run this new version. The main new game features are as followed:
Faster network code - game runs ~ 45% faster.

Bot only gameplay - you do not need to play the game - just watch our nice graphics.

Support for the iSmell product by Digital Scents - now you will be able to smell the Vietcong in the tunnels.

An option to upload your own picture to the game server - our intelligent plugin will assume whether you may play as the US army or the Vietcong.

The patch is not available anymore as it was an April Fool with 1005 attempts to download. Laugh with us ( for hardcore enthusiasts we can deliver on a CD for $20). Your dear webmasters.
