Introduction:
-------------
Well, it´s just a beta so it might screw up. Backup your core.ar before
you start...
Instructions:
-------------
First enter the path to your core.ar in the textbox at the bottom (including
the filename). This has to be the exact path.
Then choose the car you want to edit from the "Cars"-menu. All the values
will now update and show the current values for the selected car. Now it´s
up to you to change these values to the ones you prefer. My knowledge on how
the different values affect the handeling and performance of the car are rather
limited, so I can´t give you a description of what the hell their doing (-:
When you done with your editing and want to save the changes to the data file,
just choose the "File"-menu and press "Write to datafile". (Note that you have
to do this before you change car! If you edit the values and then choose another
car without writing to the datafile first the changes you made will be lost.)
If you´ve found the "perfect" setup for a car and want to share it with your
friends without writing all the values down to paper you can choose "Save these
settings to file..." from the "File"-menu. You will then choose where to save
the file and your settings will then be exported to a file.
When you friend then wants to import the settings from the file he just selects
the car he want to import the to (from the "Cars"-menu as usual) and then choose
"Load a file..." from the filemenu. Note that the program doesn´t know what car
the settings is ment fore, you may export the settings from the Panoz GT and import
them to the Ford F350 (but don´t do that, the behavier will be VERY strange..)
The program is made so you don´t have specific limitations when it comes to the
lenghts of the values, so you might fuck up your file if you enter to long values.
Please remember that this is a beta. Report all bugs to me, sizzler@home.se
I didn´t have the time to do a 100% beta test myself, so there may be bugs out there!
I take no responsibility for what ever happens to you, your computer or the animals
under threat of extermination when you run this program. It´s your ass, not mine.
