The guys over at http://www.bfnews.tk/ had an interview with the Co-Director of the upcoming mod Liberation Of Seoul. This mod is based on the Korean war that took place in the years 1946-1953.

2. What weapons will be in the mod?

Well, there is a very large list of a new armament for LoS, including some late combat vehicles and weapons that were born too late in the post World War Two, such as the M-8 Armored Car, F-84 Thunderjet, and Gloster Meteor F.Mk 8, ranging all the way to weapons that were used in WW2 and Korea, such as M1903A1 Sniper Rifle, M1 . 30 Caliber Carbines, and the very well known M1A1 . 30 Carbine.

Ok so what Teams can we expect to see?

Well, in the first version you will definatley see the US Armed Forces, and the Communist Nations of Korea, and the Republic of China.

3. Is there anything special in this mod that´s never been done to bf before?
-FP- ( LoS):
Thats a tough question. Since this modding community has grown so to be so large, and so great I hardly think there will be anything left open that we are doing that hasnt been done, but you never know. *wink*

4. Ok so i heard that you will have a chopper that will be able to land on water in the mod. Is that tru and if it is tell me some about it.
-FP- ( LoS):
Yes, it is totally true. We are putting in the S-51 DRAGONFLY. It was mainly a troop/cargo transport and rescue helicopter, but in the near end of the Korean War it saw a couple missions with missle attachments. We will be including two models of the DRAGONFLY; one as troop transport with one side defense gun, and the other model will be the attack version, with the shortly used SRMS(short range missle system). We will also be including a few other helicopters, such as the very used CH-55 Chickasaw.

5. So when do you think that the first public release will be?
-FP- ( LoS):
Thats a tough question to ask, because we are getting things done at a decent pace, but we like to keep adding. This is also one of our first real debuts, so I dont really think there will be any rush.
