Il me semble que c pong mais c peut etre le 1er COMMERCIALISE, y en a pe etre eu avant en proto.

en fait pas exactement, apres recherche c t effectivement uh jeu se nommant Spacewar qui a vu le jour, mais pong reste le premier jeu video sur console, ou plutot qui a utilisé une television de salon.

La toute première personne à avoir fait la démonstration d´une balle ( de Ping-Pong) en mouvement est Willy Higinbotham. En réalité, il s´est servit d´un oscilloscope comme écarn et d´un ordinateur analogique. Néanmoins il s´agissait plus d´une experience que d´un jeu vidéo à proprement parlé. En effet il fallait pouvoir utiliser tout type d´écran et notamment la télévision.

Dans les années 50 Steve Russell conçoit le premier jeu vidéo ( Spacewar) jouable sur PDP-1. L´objet avait la taille d´un frigidaire mais son concept fut à l´origine des premiers jeu d´aracades développés une vingtaine d´années plus tard par Nolan Bushnell ( ancien ingénieur chez Disneyland!). Ce dernier créa notamment le jeu d´arcade Computer Space ( 1969) qui ne fut pas un succès.

De son côté Ralph Baer avait immaginé dès 1966 de généraliser l´utilisation de jeu vidéo au travers d´écran de télévision standard et non plus en se servant d´oscilloscope et de moniteur CRT ( Cathode Ray Tube). Sa société , Sanders Associates, développa la " Brown Box" en 1967. Le brevet du premier videogame Tennis, fut déposé en janvier 1968. La Brown Box permettait de jouer aussi au Volley-Ball, au Football et deux jeux de tir ( schoot them up). Baer accorda une liscence d´exploitation à Maganvox en 1970. Deux ans plus tard l´Odyssey 1TL200 était vendu à 100000 exemplaires.

Finalement Bushnell qui a fondé Atari en 1972 et crée Pong avait auparavent découvert le jeu de ping-pong produit par Maganvox. Atari tire son nom du jeu de stratégie japonnais, le jeu de GO, et signifie de façon polie qu´un adversaire est sur le point de se faire concquérir. Atari vendit 8500 machines la première année et grandir relativement vite. Le 40ème employé de la compagnie, Steve Jobs fonda plus tard avec Steve Wozniak, Apple Computer. Devant la concurrence accrue la société en grande difficulté financière fut rachetée en 1976 par Warner pour 28 millions de dollars. Bushnell quitta la firme deux ans plus tard. Atari fut vendu an 1983 alors que la société perdait plus de 500 millions de dollars.
