je vien de m´acheter hitman 2 et je ne peut pas jouer parce que ses écrit:direct 3D unable to create device. Je sais que sais un problème de carte video mais je ne veux pas acheter une nouvelle carte . Ma carte video est une voodoo3 3dfx.aider moi svp . merci d´avance.

This has been a widespread problem that unfortunately has no solution. 3DFX went out of business over 2 years ago, and there are no voodoo drivers available that are capable of running Hitman 2. You can try using the unsupported OpenGL renderer, which has worked for some people.
To enable the OpenGL renderer, you need to edit the file:(using Notepad or other text editor) c:\program files\eidos interactive\hitman 2 silent assassin\hitman2.ini.

Change the line " DrawDll RendererD3D.Dll" to DrawDll RendererOpenGL.Dll.
Change the line " ColorDepth 32" to ColorDepth 16.
Save the file and try the game again.

If after trying this, you get an error message saying " OpenGL not supported". Then your only option is to upgrade your video card to a current model that supports DirectX 8.1 and Direct3D, and has at least 16 megabytes of video ram.

Désoler de ne pas être sur la bonne discussion, mais je n’est pas trouver solution à mon problème!!!!
J’ai achetez Hitman 2 avec pack extension, et aucun niveau marche il me dit que je dois achetez le jeux alors que ma Xbox m’indique que tout est installer...
Pouvez vous m’aider merci beaucoup
