Bonsoir A tous.
Merci a tous ceux qui me réponderont.

Sinon t´as essayer de
![]()
Oui j´ai essayé, il n´y a rien ^^
Allé les gars ! Je suis sur que quelqu´un la !
Je vais attendre ^^

Cher .......

Introduction
From the onset of the Xbox 360, there was a whole host of promising First Person Shooter (FPS) titles that graced the launch of the console. There was Project Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2, Quake 4, and GRAW among others. Recently there has been a further wave of top notch FPS titles released including COD 3 and Gears of War. The FPS fun doesn’t stop there either, with Halo 3, Lost Planet, Turok and Army of Two just to name a few of the promising FPS titles set for release in 2007, the XFPS 360 could not have come at a better time. Many of us will often find standard controllers a real pain to play FPS games with, it’s always more difficult to aim and more often than not you’ll be frantically swinging round those sticks to regain stability.
The XCM XFPS 360 looks to remedy this problem, by allowing the use of a PS/2 or USB keyboards and mice during game play. While many PC gamers will be thrilled to hear this, converted Playstation fans will also be glad to know that this device enables the use of traditional PSX/PS2 controllers and peripherals! You’ve read the hype, you’ve seen the basic video’s and now’s the time to read the FIRST EVER review and see if this product fires anything but blanks.
Let the fun begin
The whole package consists of a semi-bell shaped adapter box and the instruction manual. The instruction manual with the default key configurations and related information is located at XCMLive.com. Now moving onto the good stuff, the actual XFPS 360 unit itself! It’s housed in a black colouring and very hard robust shell. On the front fascia, there are 2X USB ports, 2x PS/2 inputs for older mouse and keyboards and of course in the centre is the Playstation/Playstation 2 peripheral input.
Once the XFPS 360 has been recognized, you are free to remove the connected WIRED controller.
As you may be aware, the Xbox 360 traditionally doesn’t support a mouse and keyboard. To become ‘recognized’ by the Xbox 360, the XFPS adapter requires you to plug in a Wired Controller to one of the USB ports on the adapter. As soon as it is plugged in, the XFPS 360 will be assigned to the Xbox 360 and you can then removed the wired controller used to get the device detected. The cable of the XFPS 360 is about two thirds shorter than a normal Xbox 360 controller with no quick in-line release BUT as you’re connecting up a mouse and keyboard with long wires this shouldn’t cause any convience.
Bringing back the Playstation glory days to Xbox 360
We began our XFPS 360 testing by testing out a traditional PSX controller on the adapter. It worked flawlessly first time! Just as we had been pruning our PES skills on the Playstation all those years with the basic PSX controller, the little bundle of grey joy was also being enabled and instantly playable on the Xbox 360 with the XFPS 360. We always preferred to play PES even on the PS2 with the PSX control pads, but a traditional Dualshock PS2 controller pad will work.
However, one of the non-official PS2 pads we tested failed to work, it was manufactured by ‘Tournament’ and while it powered on when plugged in, it failed to respond to any input thereafter. Stick to the Official pads however and all should be fine and dandy.
Mouse and Keyboard fires onto the Xbox 360
Now, moving onto what is really the jewel in the crown of this product – keyboard and mouse ability for the Xbox 360. We tested a standard ‘Dell’ PS/2 keyboard in conjunction with a Logitech USB optical mouse as well as standard Dell PS/2 mouse. The combination worked flawlessly as promised. Within a few short seconds of blasting on the FPS title Call of Duty 3, we were navigating though the menu’s with the keyboard!
Commencing war, we mean gameplay, we tested out the mouse sensitivity thoroughly at first. For us, one of the deterrents of FPS on consoles is the use of those dreaded analog sticks; somehow, someway we used to keep firing up into the sky and losing our footing – NOT ANYMORE! It was beautiful to twist our gun around with a swipe of the mouse, left, right, up and down; you name it, and the mouse done it on Xbox 360. The response time is excellent, there was no Need for a high frequency of mouse drags and it certainly was far from irritating. Unfortunately, the XFPS 360 comes with no sensitivity adjuster on-board the device, but alas titles such as COD 3 have vertical and horizontal sensitivity bars in the options menu.
We turned them both up all the way and to our delight the mouse control become even smoother and quicker! With a mouse, shooting enemies becomes a lot easier for obvious reasons and it really did make COD 3 a lot more enjoyable and pleasurable to play.
On the keyboard side of things, everything is emulated perfectly as expected. The default pre-set was great for COD 3, but for other games perhaps the keys would be best assigned beyond their defaults. Luckily, XCM has included a programming function in the device which allows you to re-map keys as you wish. Here’s how programming the device works –
1) Flick the switch to SET
2) Push the ‘P’ button on the XFPS 360
3) Hit the button on your Wired Xbox 360 controller you wish to re-map (Needs to be connected temporarily)
4) Hit the keyboard button that you wish for your button to be re-assigned to
5) Job done
The obvious downer of this method is that if you don’t have any wired control pads, then you will not be able to use this function (or even use the device). Although, most likely there will be one lying around somewhere and a major plus is that the programming as listed is incredibly easy to do. The XFPS 360 will even save your programmed functions, and you can toggle between the default and user set pre-sets via a flick of the switch.
From Newbie to FPS Pro in just one Day!
The use of the XFPS 360 will most likely improve any gamers FPS skills in an INSTANT. The benefits a mouse and keyboard bring to FPS gaming are evident and offer control far beyond a traditional Xbox 360 controller.
While there are more than enough positives, the perhaps and potentially huge downsides of the XFPS 360 is that firstly it requires the use of a wired Xbox 360 to become connected and secondly there is no headset support. The first is bearable, it is not a gruesome process but for some real hardcore Live gamers, the lack of headset support will result in their new found ‘killing spree’ going physically un-voiced.
Overall, the XFPS 360 is fully user-friendly and any newbie can pick it up and reap the benefits. It performs as it promises, easy to use yet highly effective in beefing up your frag kudos. The included Playstation/Playstation 2 compatibility is a great bonus for all those players who have come the whole way from PS2 to Xbox 360. It certainly made our FPS experience on the 360 more intensive and more enjoyable. With more and more great FPS titles heading to the 360 in the new year, the XFPS 360 should most certainly be on everybody’s must have peripheral list.
Positives
+ Use USB or PS/2 Mouse and Keyboards on Xbox 360
+ Use Playstation/Playstation 2 controllers and peripherals on the Xbox 360
+ Bring turbo buttons to your Xbox 360 controller via the switch pull-downs
+ Strong, sleek and robust unit
+ Fully suitable for ‘Plug & Play’ with default setting
+ Easy to re-program buttons and create a custom key setting
+ Makes FPS games more enjoyable and a lot easier to play
+ Will have even the best of Live gamers running scared
+ Makes the transition from PS2 to Xbox 360 gamer seamless
Negatives
+ Requires a wired Xbox 360 controller for the device to be detected and programmed
+ No on-board headset support, however could be plugged into a wired controller, the wired controller still works as well as mouse and keyboard if plugged in
+ It may be a great adapter, but the price tag of approximately $80 is a little steep
+ Potential hardware compatibility issues
+ WASD movement setting not programmable
+ A creamy white shell colouring would’ve complimented the Xbox 360 better
