December 7, 2005 - Capcom´s Keiji Inafune has shared his thoughts on his company´s next generation development plans to the readers of Xbox 360ism, a special one-time publication released by the editors of Japan´s Dorimaga in time for the 12/10 Japanese launch of the Xbox 360.

The big news from Inafune´s page-long interview concerns Resident Evil 5. He reveals that Capcom is planning on developing the Resident Evil series on a multiplatform basis, and would thus like to release both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the RE5 simultaneously. He won´t get into specifics, citing the mysteries surrounding the PS3 launch.
Inafune also mentions that Capcom is planning on giving RE5 Online elements. Again, details will have to wait.
