Voilà les passages essentiels de cette preview de Lair:
"First impressions are brilliant. Controlling your dragon mount is intuitive, with your majestic, hulking steed banking left and right responsively according to your joypad tilting.
The controls certainly make the game (at least initially) feel more engaging.
You can lock-onto foes to hurl fireballs in their direction, or get in close to ram your opponents, and even grab the chance to leap onto your enemy´s mount and knock the rider off.
Swooping down to torch, ram, pound or even gobble feeble ground troops is also really fun.
Unfortunately, when you reach terra firma, the controls are less intuitive, even cumbersome, a situation not helped by a wayward camera that will need serious tweaking before release.
The (1080p resolution) graphics are instantly impressive. A gorgeous city is astonishingly detailed and set amongst a glorious backdrop of towering mountains and vast oceans. The levels and draw distance are both huge.
The battles have the same epic, cinematic feel as the Rogue Squadron games, and replay appeal is enhanced by medal ratings for each level.
Bombastic cut scenes are used to progress the story, but at the moment they seem a little too intrusive.
Lair won´t be the game that sets PS3 sales alight, but if some camera and control issues can be sorted out before release, it should be a most welcome and entertaining asset to Sony´s slowly growing PS3 library. "
