Bonjour tout le monde, on m´a acheté un DD Western Digital SATA 300 go. Je l´installe comme il faut etc puis j´allume mon pc. La dans le livret il dise de faire un disquette de boot mais vu que mon PC est très récent il n´y a pas de lecteur de disquette donc je suis bloqué. (En faites le DD n´est pas reconnut et donc n´apparaît pas)

Quelqu´un pourrait m´aider ? Merci d´avance.

Bonjour, heu si ton PC est très récent ta carte mère devrai reconnaitre n´importe quel disque dur en SATA.

Ton disque dur apparait-il dans le BIOS?

normalement ton DD est reconnu dans le bios (si c´est un SATA), après tu n´as juste qu´a allumer ton ordi, clique droit sur poste de travail > gérer > stockage > gestion des disques > après tu vas voir ton disque principal et le nouveau (en bas de la fenetre) et tu créé ta partition (en faisant un formatage rapide)

enfin moi c´est comme cela que j´ai installé mon nouveau DD il y a une semaine (sur XP familial)

Non il n´est pas reconnu dans le BIOS. Dans le didacticiel (En Anglais bien évidemement.) Il me dit sa:

The drive or controller is not connected properly - Make sure the Serial ATA adapter card is firmly seated in the PCI slot. Secure the card with a screw to prevent it from coming loose. Also make sure the power and data cables (or SecureConnect cable) are securly connected to the drive and that the data cable is tightly connected to the Serial ATA adapter or motherboard. If the drive is properly connected, you should see the Serial ATA drive displayed during the POST (when you first boot up the computer) when the Serial adapter card BIOS scans for devices.

The Serial ATA host adapter drivers for Windows are not installed - If you just installed a Serial ATA adapter and have not set it up in Windows, you need to install the Windows drivers before Data Lifeguard Tools can partition and format the new drive. Follow the instructions that came with the Serial adapter card to install the drivers.

apparament faut que tu installe les drivers sata

Mouarf et j´ai sa ou ? De plus c´est bizarre puisque mon autre DD est un SATA

t´as bien connecté la prsie sata a la cm et l´alimentation sata a l´alim?
