They have an interview with the creator. I´m starting to believe it now.
When did you first announce DS linkup to the public? Is there any
signifigance in choosing April 11th for release?
We first announced it yesterday. April 11th just seemed like the date would be perfect.
With news breaking right after April Fools, as well as having other
projects fail to deliver in the past, many DS users are skeptical of DS Linkup. Do you have any words of encouragement for those skeptics?
They couldnt find the answer because they didnt think outside the box. April fools days was April 1st. We wouldn´t have done it then..plus I dont have that much time on my hands. Nobody is that evil to pull a hoax this big. This is for real.
From what I know, you´ve gotten picto-chat to connect over the DS Linkup software. How many users were you able to connect? Is there a limit to how many users can connect via DS linkup?
We had 8 testers connected. There is no limit except to what the game allows.
Is there any Mac or Linux development for DS Linkup, or will that come later, if at all?
Not yet. Later we will see.
Will single-cart multiplayer games function over DS Linkup, or will it be limited to multi-cart multiplayer?
Both. Whatever the specific game allows.
Finally, where do you see DS Linkup in 6 months?
A secondary program to Nintendo´s online system. LinkUP will mainly be used for games that arent currently online, just regular multiplayer games.

Did you see the latest post in his blog?

I´d just like to go ahead and clear something up.
I recently agreed to help out the minds ( or mind) behind dslinkup. I registered the domain and added it to my shared hosting plan, which originates at http://johndupre.net. Communication was very confusing and unprofessional on their part, and they eventually decided that they wanted to buy the domain from me. They can have it. Way too much negativity is circulating around this project, and I´d rather not be associated with it. So, if you´ve been reading the latest gossip that " John DuPre is responsible for DSlinkup" don´t worry. I had nothing to do with the project other than to get their website up and running in case of the unlikely event that the software was actually real. I have all of our e-mails logged, and I´ll post them if this carries on any further. I belong to a group of people focused on making the Nintendo DS community better - not jerking it around.
As of right now, I´m going to call the bluff for NDSart: DSlinkup is most likely a hoax - and it isn´t mine.
