Tous les mouvements possibles de mgs2 pourront être effectués dans " the twin snakes", commme rouler, regarder à partir des coins, tirer avec précision, et une I.A qui réagit de manière réaliste aux bruits, gardes manquants, et à la vue d´intrus.
L´I.A sera encore plus développée que ce qui a été vu sur ps2. Les gardes sont plus sensibles au sond et aux patrouilleurs manquants.
Une fois alertés, il reste longtemps en état d´alerte. Toutefois, la plus grosse nouveauté concernant l´I.A est que les gardes vont aussi s´occuper des zones à l´exérieur ( alors que ce n´était le cas qu´à l´intérieur dans mgs2)

Silicon Knights´ President Denis Dyack spoke at Konami´s presentation, which was truly a stunning spectacle since prior showings of the game have relied on an age old E3 build. The first bit of the presentation discussed what exactly made Twin Snakes so different from the original Metal Gear Solid. The primary difference ( as those following this game know) is that Twin Snakes takes all of the control refinements from Metal Gear Solid 2 and incorporates them into the original storyline. Now you can do everything that Snake did in MGS2 in MGS: TS -- whether they´re moves like rolling, peeking around corners, precision shooting, and hanging off ledges or A.I. that reacts realistically to noises, missing guards, and sightings of intruders.
In fact, Denis explained that the A.I. is even more refined than what was seen in MGS2. Guards are more sensitive to sound and missing patrols. Once alerted, these foes will maintain a higher level of caution on their patrol routes. However, the biggest addition to the A.I. is that guards will now strategically clear outside areas ( which was only done indoors in MGS2).
A more obvious difference is, of course, that the graphics engine has been completely overhauled. MGS has been updated to resemble the kind of graphics seen in MGS2, which is more than evident in screen shots and trailers. However, this contrast was made strikingly clear in today´s presentation thanks to a side by side comparison of the original Metal Gear Solid and Twin Snakes. A video of one room in Metal Gear Solid played while one of Konami´s employees played through the same room in Twin Snakes. There is such a drastic difference in the presentation of the game -- it´s just incredible. Silicon Knights went through each level, not only to update the visuals, but it also redesigned several of layouts to accommodate the new moves Snake can use -- which gives him numerous ways to get around obstacles.
