Tous les stocks ont été écoulés et Nintendo reprend la production des consoles :

Japan´s Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper reports that Nintendo has, as of October, restarted production on the GameCube hardware. According to the paper, the stock of four million systems held over from the previous financial term have all been sold, prompting the renewal of production.

Nintendo, back in January, revealed that it would be temporarily stopping production of the GameCube due to excess stock.

Les ventes ont décuplées en Europe ( ca on le savait déjà) , mais elles ont quadruplées aux Etat-Unis et occupent désormais 37% des parts de ventes de console juste derrière la PS2 :

Nintendo of America today announced that the sales rate of GameCube has quadrupled in the 35 days since the company dropped the price of the system to the mass-market $99 point. GameCube now runs a " strong second" to PlayStation 2 in monthly sales, at least based on October sell-through data.

La Gamecube est aussi la seule console a avoir augmenté ses ventes par rapport à l´ an dernier alors qu´en même temps les ventes de Xbox ont diminuées de 3% et celles de PS2 de 18% :

GameCube is the only current-generation console to show a year-to-date sales increase compared to 2002. GameCube sales are two percent higher than last year, but Xbox dropped three percent and PlayStation 17.5 percent according to NPD data through September.
