Le mot de la fin :
Final Verdict
Without a doubt, SSX 3 is a fine purchase or rent on any of the consoles. EA Canada did a superb job of creating a multiplatform snowboarding game. However, there are minor feature and technical differences to contend with.
There is a clear winner, though. The PlayStation 2 looks great, has awesome sound, the controls were designed for it, and it features online multiplayer. There´s no question the PlayStation 2 is your best bet.
However, if you´re a nit-picker when it comes to visuals, Xbox is the better buy because it does look better than the PS2, marginally better than GCN, and the controls are functional.
GameCube we don´t recommend because of the less available tricks. This slightly spoils the combo system and your ability to diversify tricks. Is it still a great title? Absolutely, with some fine visuals, but not quite as great as the PS2 or Xbox.
- Best version for single player: PS2/Xbox ( tie)
- Best version for multiplayer: PlayStation 2 ( online; minor advantage)
- Best version for videophiles: Xbox ( minor advantage)
- Best version for audiophiles: Xbox ( PS2, close runner-up)
- Best value/price: GCN/PS2/Xbox ( tie)
Dans l´ensemble ils disent que la PS2 est mieux, essentiellement grâce au online. Sans le online la Xbox à clairement l´avantage.
