Voici une partie de l´article Head-to-Head d´IGN qui compare les 3 versions de Mortal Kombat 5. Ceci est la partie de l´article qui compare les controles.
Control
Very little varies from controller to controller with Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. The four face buttons all translate to punch and kick attacks for each character with the Xbox and PS2 versions being identical in that regard, and the GameCube version varying slightly where B/A are punches and X/Y are used for kicks. Meanwhile, the L and R triggers on all three versions are used the same -- L for fighting style changes and R for blocking. PlayStation 2 and GameCube also use another rear button ( R2 and Z respectively) for throwing and power-up taunt moves. This is where the Xbox varies slightly, as the white button on the face is used instead.
All of the versions require that you use the D-pad. This, above all, is probably the biggest and most important thing to bear in mind about each version´s control scheme. The fact is, the functionality is there and works quite well on all of them. However, depending on your favorite D-pad, you will prefer one version over another -- tactile feedback is very important for a fighter.
Winner: GameCube/PlayStation 2/Xbox ( Tie)
