You may have to wait a bit longer to get the Gamecube online in Europe.

It has been revealed that the release of the Gamecube modems in Europe have slipped back three weeks, meaning they will now be released on March 28th.

Phantasy Star Online was set to release with the modems on March 7th but according to a spokesperson at Infogrames ( PSO´s publisher) the game is still set for that date.

Thankfully the Gamecube version has an offline option for up to four players and a single player mode, this will have to do for three weeks.

A spokesperson for NOE is not available to comment at the moment.
