Presentation
A solid, well-balanced package through-and-through. Great menus, interface, and implementation of concepts and art.
8.0
Graphics
Sharpened up from its days on the Sega Dreamcast, but only "middle-of-the-road" by GCN standards. Some nice art and effects. No progressive scan support.
5.0
Sound
Some nice composition; a soundtrack that perhaps repeats themes a little too often. Sufficient sound effects. Furthermore, the quality could have used a bump or two.
7.0
Gameplay
A splendid RPG, that despite some flaws in balance, is GameCube´s best. Great turn-based action, huge bosses, an engaging story, and so much more.
9.0
Lasting Appeal
Coming back to beef up on experience and learn spells is an often occurrance. The side quests, head hunting, are appreciated additions, but only a moderate draw to return. A very lengthy game, though.
