Digging around IGN, I uncovered some interesting details on the GameCube installment of the Pokemon franchise.

Look at the developer....Genius Sonority. Now they may have been the developer for the Meowth´s Party game, but I´m thinking not. Now let´s look at this Genius Sonority company:

games.ign.com/objects/487/487778.html

"Genius Sonority is made up of programmers who worked on such high profile RPGs as Dragon Quest and Earthbound."

Hmmmm, ex-Enix employees huh? Why would Nintendo hand of the Pokemon franchise to these guys if they weren´t making a RPG!! Things are looking great for the chance of finally getting a 3D Pokemon RPG! Hopefully they add in online support as well. An plus they could tweak the Pokemon Stadium engine for the battle system. They can add in the 2 VS 2 battles, and of course, get rid of that..uh..."challenged" announcer! With ex-Enix employees, we could be getting a very good RPG!

En gros,il se pourrait que le prochain pokemon sur GC soit un sublime RPG online développé par des anciens d´Enix(Dragon quest entre autre^^)
