-NeoGeo CDZ Emulator for PSP v0.1.2

– 0.1.2

The emulator is separated to 2 versions. The difference between them is the sound CPU (Z80) emulation core.

MAME Z80 Version: Uses the core from MAME. The load is heavy, but the processing is more accurate.
C80 Version: Uses my original code. The load is light, but the processing is a bit unstable.

* Fixed the freezing issue of Art of Fighting 2.
* Fixed the issue of freezing and displaying “load error” on ADK games.

* Fixed the issue of forgetting to clear MC68000.

Added the sprite management functions to get better speed performance. No need to adjust it in normal cases though.

Cache clear timing: delete the sprite from cache when designated frame rate cannot be achieved. This option is used to set the wished frame rate. If you try to decrease the cache size by setting a low value, the checking time of per frame will be added, and the system load will increase instead of decrease. 30 or large value recommended.

Palette refresh type: specify the cache clear method for palette updating. When updating the palette, you can choose between “Clear the whole palette” or “Only clear the sprites whose palette has changed”. Usually the 2nd one works better.

Development State:

* There are too many small bugs in the source code now, which delays the source code from being released.
* Hardware rendering for processing full-screen palette animation is still not good enough. The Galford opening of Samurai Spirits 2 is very poor now.
* A part of the sound in Power Spike 2 still doesn’t play. Same for some other games too.
* I’m not to sure about the reason, but the sound problem seems fixed :P
* Clearing up source code.

* Fix for the famous raster interrupt of the previous version : the 85% speed of art of fighting is now working, and there is a special case to make neo drift out to work correctly. This also fixes Samurai shodown 3. This created actually less bugs than what I feared.
* Fixed the mp3 music not resuming in aero fighters 3 (very special case). Actually this is a genral fix for the mp3s so this might affect some other games too, but in the good way.
* Replaced "Sound Enable" in the menu by "Sound volume"
* Added a file cache, which avoids to load already loaded files (samurai spirits rpg tries 10% of the time to load files which are already loaded!)
* Changed completely the way the neocd emulator loads its game files. The patch.prg file previously needed for "samurai spirits rpg" becomes useless. Just delete it if it´s still in your neocdpsp directory ! This fixes at least the sound in samurai spirits rpg, and the music is now playing at the beginning of "puzzled" This also allows to fix 90% of the upload area problems. The only game I could find which is still broken with this area is "neo geo cdspecial", and I made a special case for it. It´s a potential for lots of new bugs, but apparently everyting is fine or better than before now !

Duke Nukem 3D Port for PSP by StereoMike

StereoMike from our forum has released a port of Duke Nukem 3D for PSP. This is a great port of a classic 3D Shooter by 3D Realms Entertainment. A fair warning for this game, some settings may display mature rated "virtual females" in sexual scenarios and crude language. If you can see past that is is quite a great game, with well made levels and interesting enviroments.

- The pitch of Duke´s voice is a bit too high making him sound a bit "strange"
- No loading(saving works...)
- No music
- Not completely stable, may crash when starting a game and exiting (but i have played a couple of levels in a row, so it should be stable ingame)
- The key-bindings are a bit tricky to change since you can´t delete the old ones.
- The "Press any key to goto next level" only reacts to pressing "Start"

bebz, je te conseille un jeu: Windjammers. C´est un jeu de frisbee mais carrément fun! Enfin c´est simple, à tous ceux que j´ai fais montrer ce jeu, ils ont adoré lol. A 2, c´est de la bombe :lol:
