“Knight Ascension” :[Newly added King System]
1) Requirement to become a King
There is one King per nation and they are selected by a vote by users of each nation. There are no restrictions/conditions on who can be a king.
-The top 10 ranking clan leaders of each nation can visit the Election NPC to nominate a character as a King. The nominee can choose to denounce his/her nomination and nominate another person in his/her place.
-If the top 10 ranking clan leaders do not nominate anybody, they themselves will automatically be nominated.
-When the leader of the clan that’s controlling the Delos region is nominated, he/she will lose their control of the Delos region.
-The current King can also run for another election for the second term.
2) Election
-The elections are carried out separately for each nation.
-You can check the election schedule by visiting the Election NPC. The users that has the authority to nominate a King has to do so before the election begins. If they fail to nominate somebody, they themselves will be nominated as a King automatically.
-The citizens of each nation can vote once by visiting the Election NPC. Voting can be performed only once per account and the character that’s voting has to be level 20 or above.
-The character that received the most votes will become the King. If the result of an election is a tie, then the character that’s nominated by the higher-ranking clan leader will become the King.
-The nominees can register their plans that they will carry out during their time as a King to the Election NPC. These plans can be viewed by all the users.
-When the King’s term expires then another election cycle will begin.
3) Duration of being a King
-30 days since the election is won.
-When the King quits by himself.
-When the King is impeached
-When the character is deleted the King authority will disappear at the same time.
4) Senator
-The nominees that lost the election get to be a senator.
-The senators can carry out political actions such as impeachment and etc.
5) Impeachment
-Impeachment can be proposed by one of the senators. Once the senators agree on the impeachment the action is taken to vote by citizens.
-In order to propose an impeachment, you need 3,000 coins as a fee. When you propose an impeachment, an announcement will be displayed in the screens of all the senators that an impeachment has been proposed. The senators, excluding the one that proposed the impeachment, then have 2 days to vote in favor of or against the impeachment through the Election NPC. If the majority of the senators vote in favor of impeachment then a public voting will take place where users will be able to vote for impeachment.
-You can find out who made the proposal for impeachment by visiting the Election NPC.
-If the majority of the senators doesn’t vote in favor of the impeachment then the proposal for impeachment will be dismissed.
-The vote for impeachment will last for 1 day. You have to be level 20 or above in order to vote. When the voting has been passed in favor or impeachment, the King will lose his authority at once and an election for a new King will begin.
-Please note that voting can be done only once per account.
6) King’s Authority and Functions
a. Earn Royal Tax
-The King can collect 10% of the Delos Castle Tax as the Royal Tax.
-The King that collects the Royal Tax has to be from the same nation as the Lord of the Delos Castle.
-The King can collect the Royal Tax by visiting the Head Servant NPC.
b. Earn Territory Tax
-The King can collect tax from Nation’s territory. (Each nation’s main zone).
-You can set the Territory Tax rate from 0~10% by visiting the Head Servant NPC.
-You can collect the Territory Tax by visiting the Head Servant NPC.
c. Tax Related Policies
From the total tax collected by the King, he can take 20% of it for himself and the rest will be stored in the national treasury. The current balance of the national treasury can be checked by everyone by visiting the Head Servant NPC. Some commands (for events and etc) and functions for the King costs money. Such expenses will be deducted from the Treasury. If the Treasury is empty then the King will not be able to carry out such commands and functions. The remaining balance in the treasury at the end of the King’s term will remain in the treasury for the next King.
- Note: The maximum amount the National Treasury can hold is 2.1 billion coins. Taxes collected beyond the Treasury’s limit will not be saved. The King must make sure he uses up the money in the Treasury if he doesn’t want the taxes to be wasted.
The King can collect his/her share of the tax and pick up King’s items by visiting the Head Servant NPC. The King’s item is an item that is used to represent his/her status as a King. It’s just for show and has no ability. The King gets to wear a Royal Cape, which also symbolizes his/her royal status. There will be additional features to be added in the future.
d. King’s Authority for Events
-The King can spend the money in the National Treasury to start an “experience point”/”item drop” event once a day.
-The event lasts for 30 minutes. For experience point event; 10% increase costs 300 million coins, 30% increase costs 900 million coins, and 50% increase costs 1.5 billion coins. For increasing item drop rate; 1% increase costs 50 million coins, 2% increase costs 100 million coins, and 3% increase costs 150 million coins.
e. King’s Abilities
-The characters standing within 20 meters of the King will receive 3% bonus in maximum HP and MP, King himself excluded.
-The King can change the weather once a day.
-The King will have a special ability to send out messages to all the citizens of his nation.
f. King’s Command
Command Description
/King’s Name Message Send message to the citizens of his/her nation. Does not cost any coins.
/REWARD character name amount of coins [has to be same nation] Give reward to the designated character.
/EXPERIENCE_POINT 10 or 30 or 50 Increase experience point earned for 30 minutes. Can be used only once a day.
/Drop_Rate 1~3 Increase item drop rate for 30 minutes. Can be used only once a day.
/JOIN_SENTINEL character name Enroll in Royal Sentinel Knights Guild
/QUIT_SENTINEL character name Ban from Royal Sentinel Knights guild.
/RAIN 1~100 Control rain for 5 minutes. Min. 1 to max. 100
/SNOW 1~100 Control rain for 5 minutes. Min. 1 to max. 100
/CLEAR 1~100 Clear weather. 1 for very clear and 100 for very cloudy.
- Changing weather can be done once a day and it costs 100,000 coins.
2. Map Renewal
Main zone of each nation renewed. Location of monsters changed.
-With the return of the King, the Adonis continent experiences revival. Each of the nation’s main zone will be changed. The El Morads will have El Morad castle and the Karus will have Luferson Castle.
-With the increase in Patos’ strength, the monsters continue to seek a way to take control of the Adonis Continent. With the increased activity, several new breeds of these monsters started appearing in the different parts of the continent.
-Monsters that were in Eslant were moved to the main zone. There are only a small number of monsters left in the Eslant area.
-The monsters that were in the main zone of each nation were also relocated to the Moradon area.
3. Accessory Compounding System
Accessory upgrading system will be added. You can do this by visiting the magic anvil. The necessary compounding scroll is sold by Charon NPC.
You can compound an item by taking three accessories of the same kind. If the items are not an unique item and not different shape but w/ same kind of abilities then they can be compounded.
Accessories that can be compounded
-Accessory that has +5 or above abilities in STR, HP, DEX, INT, MP.
Scroll used for compounding
-Accessory Compound Scroll – Increase the accessory’s level by one.
-Accessory Elemental Scroll – Change +10 accessories to a +1 Unique Accessory
You can compound 3 accessories using a scroll at the magic anvil to upgrade it to a higher-level accessory.
Regular +5 accessories can be upgraded to +10 by using the compound scroll.
There’s a certain success rate of succeeding. If compounding fails, then the item and the scroll will disappear.
+10 accessories can be changed to a +1 Unique Accessory (these are not the same known unique accessory dropped by boss – Ring of Life, Glass Belt and etc) by using an Accessory elemental scroll. Aside from the basic ability, you can add additional abilities to it. For this the accessories does not need to be of the same kind. The compounding will succeed at 100%.
From +1 you can use the Accessory Compound Scroll to upgrade the accessory to a higher level accessory. If compounding fails, then the item and the scroll will disappear. You can compound up to +5. Unique Accessory requires scroll and 2 million coins for compounding.
4. Level 70 Restriction Removed
The character’s level restriction is changed from 70 to 80. You can earn 2 skill points and 5 stat points each time you level up. This may be changed in the future.
For now, there are no skills beyond level 70.
5. New Monsters
Isillun
Isillun is the protector of the Goddess Akira. She considers anybody other than the Goddess to be an enemy.
With her attractive appearance, she lures the enemy close to her and feasts on his/her blood.
Only the bones and skin will remain of the victim.
The intelligence of these creatures are very high.
Location: Abyss Dungeon, Hell Abyss 15th floor.
Isillun’s Soldier
Protector of Isillun and the Goddess Akira.
With the mysterious bell that she carries, she hypnotizes the enemy.
Location: Abyss Dungeon, Hell Abyss 14th and 15th floor
Ancient
The creature is inoffensive by nature. However if you cross its territory, then it’ll attack the person until it dies. Despite the such danger, there are many people that hunt these monsters because they give out nice items.
Trent
A monster that’s one level stronger than Ancient with stronger attack power.
With its aged limbs, it blocks off most of the normal attacks that you may try.
6. Upgrade Success Rate and other Fixes
6.1 Item +7
Due to the change in the success rate of upgrade scroll the below in-game contents will be changed.
Originally, the accessories gave a considerable change in ability when it’s upgraded to +8 and above, but the new update will change this and the items will have a considerable change in ability starting from +7.
6.2 “Cursed Upgrade Scroll” and “Upgrade Scroll” will become one item
The Cursed Upgrade Scroll and the Upgrade Scroll will be combined to become one item. The original Cursed Upgrade Scroll cannot be used to upgrade items anymore. It’s used only as a quest item from now.
Charon NPC in Moradon will only be selling Normal Upgrade Scroll and Blessed Upgrade Scrolls. The Blessed Upgrade Scroll will be sold at the same price as the ones being sold in Delos Abyss Dungeon.
The success rate of the Normal Upgrade Scroll will be the same as the success rate of the Cursed Upgrade Scroll. The success rate of Blessed Upgrade Scroll will remain the same.
7. Change in Castle Siege War
- During the Castle Siege War, if the artifact is overtaken, the losing side will not be teleported back to Delos town, instead they will continue fighting to take over the artifact. When the artifact is overtaken, the castle gate and the artifact will be regenerated.
- Fixed the problem where users were able to heal the gates of the castle.
- The Castle Siege War Weapons’ range has been increased. Originally, the attacking weapons were not able to come closer than 100 meters from the castle wall, but now they’ll be able to come up to 20 meters to the castle wall.
- The speed of Leader Car for the Castle Siege War has been increased.
- The durability for the Castle Siege War Weapons has increased.
