Salut, je suis sous ubuntu 8.04, tout va bien, sauf que la 3D purement parlant, je l´ai pas...
J´ai pourtant activé les pilotes proprio et donc l´acceleration graphique, et mon bureau bénéficie même des effets 3D...

Mais pourtant, ça merdouille quand il s´agit d´un jeu, ou quelconque application 3D, qui passait impeccable sur XP...

Donc, faisant fi de cela (tant pis pour les JV...) j´ai quand même réinstallé Call of Duty 2
Et en le lançant, y´a ça qui s´affiche, donc j´me fit que vous, vous pourriez sûrement m´aider...
S´il faut quelconque renseignement supplémentaire, dites (J´ai une NVIDIA Geforce 4mx...)

la dernière version de ubuntu est la 7.10 donc sois tu n´est pas sous ubuntu soit tu t´es planté de version

La 8.04 doit déjà exister en alpha.

Mais ma seule aide pour les problèmes liés à des utilisations de softs pour une ubuntu pas encore sortie sera : "downgrade ta buntu ! "

Que donne la commande ´sudo glxinfo | grep -i render´ ? Quel driver utilises-tu pour ta carte graphique ? Donne des exemples précis d´échec de la 3D tant que tu y es.

La commande donne ça : direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU/AGP/SSE/3DNOW!

Drivers : Aucune idée...

Et pour les echecs 3D, justement, par exemple quand je joue aux echecs en mode 3D (glchess) ben moi ça donne ça :

Bon, je suppose que c´est le driver propriétaire de nvidia que tu utilises (ça doit être le seul qui permet d´avoir le direct rendering)

Sinon, ton système est-il à jour ? Quelle version de wine utilises-tu ? (wine --version)
