Voila je vient d´installer Kubuntu sur mon PC et j´ai lu des tutos mais je n´arrive pas

Je pense que c´est parce qu´il faut mettre un pass admin mais je sait pas ou le mettre aidez moi svp

Sous ubuntuu, ya pas de root pour te mettre en root faut taper sudo su

tien pour savoir installer, a partir de source..

perso je vois pas pourquoi tu te prend la tête avec les .tar.gz / .tar.bz2.

un coup apt-get et c´est installer.

Peut étre mais je suis nouveau et je ne connais méme pas les format j´ai passer 6ans sous windows que je maitrise trés bien d´ailleur et sa me fais un gros changement Johannux tu peut m´ajouter sur MSN stppp ?

Quand je suis ton tutos Johannux il me dis ceci :

La c´est bon il est installer ou pas ?
Je ne vois aucune icone...

Pour installer un logiciel avec Ubuntu, c´est :
sudo apt-get install nom_du_soft
Pour FireFox :
sudo apt-get install firefox
Pour faire une recherche sur les paquets relatifs à Firefox :
apt-cache search firefox
Pour plus d´infos :
man apt

Le minimum serait d´un peu se renseigner avant de poser des questions auxquelles on a répondu (ici et sur une palanquée d´autres sites) des centaines de fois

Après, si tu veux t´entêter à installer à partir de .tar.gz ou .tar.bz2, c´est
tar -xzvf nom_du.tar.gz
et
tar -xjvf nom_du.tar.bz2

Puis tu lis les fichiers INSTALL et/ou README.

Ouais va voir les tutos de ubuntu-fr.org qui sont très riches... car installer un logiciel de la sorte est vraiment une mauvaise idée.
Les distributions modernes ont des systèmes d´installation de logiciels très poussées, fais une recherche sur APT sur le site ubuntu-fr.org, et regarde dans le menu défilant en haut à droit une case "ajout - suppression de programmes" ou sûrement un truc comme ça, tu y trouveras ton bonheur.
