je voudrai mettre beryl dans mon ubuntu j´ai donc suivi ce tutorial :

et on me demande de modifier le fichier xorg.conf mais apparemment j´ai commis des erreurs et je suis obliger de les corriger sinon au moment du reboot ca va faire comme hier je n´aurai plus d´interface graphique ety je serai obliger de reformater encore une foi ^^

je suis entrain de le graver, apres un essai sous mandriva j´en suis revenu à Windows mais là je vais tester ubuntu en dual boot avec XP

par contre dsl si sa n´a aucun rapport avec ton probleme

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Petit conseil au lieu de tout reformater et installer, avant de faire une modification dans un fichier de configuration système, fait toujours une sauvegarde de celui-ci.

Ubuntu ne fait pas ça tout seul ? Bizarre, ma Debian me crée toujours une save de chaque fichier modifié...
Mais bon, Ubuntu c´est pour les débutants, et apparemment, chez Ubuntu, on se dit "les débutants, ça édite pas les fichiers de conf à la main"

oui mais est ce que quelqu´un peut m´aider pour mon probleme et me dire ou se situe l´erreur dans mon code ?
