Par contre j'utiliserais pas hear perso, "entendre les infos" ne se dit pas, plutôt listen to.

Tu veux dire "Ma mère m'a juste dit d'entendre les infos" ?

Si oui c'est plutôt "My mother just told me to hear the news"...

Par contre "hear the news" c'est bizarre

Moi j'aurais plus dis d'écouter les infos
