He had acted in Endless Love while he was in high school. At the age of 18, he had already acted in one film. In 1985, he had leading role in Top Gun, it’s a very good film. In 1990, he has won an Oscar for the best actor for the film Born on the fourth of July. In 1993, he has nominated for the best actor in A few good men by Golden Globe. After that, he acted in Mission Impossible in 1996, this film is great!
In 2002, it was the first collaboration with Steven Spielberg in Minority Report.
He has won a Saturn Award for War of the Worlds in 2006.
From 2003 to 2011, he has acted in 9 films. His last film is Night and Day in 2010.
Tom is not exceptional, he acted in a film which didn’t attract public attention but is rarely. Tom has acted in Hollywood, it’s place where the most famous actors work. Thought Tom directed a film, he didn’t become famous. Tom is not only an actor but also a father, a father of two children.
