:salut: !

:d) If you were given the choice, would you consider home schooling ?
Why or why not ?

Et voilà ce que j´ai fait :

:d) The twenty-first century is knowing a new kind of education : virtual school. What is it ? The student who have chosen this system follow his education, staying in his home, with milk and cookies. It could seem very cool, very fun, but we forget always a big advantage of a normal High-School : we meet people, all different, and it teach to live in a community, to be able to have a normal social life. Here, we’ll try to explains all the pros and cons, to decide if this kind of education can be a good solution...

Firstly, we can think that it’s the paradise... Who had never dreamt to work in his bed, to learn each lesson with pudding in the mouth, with the possibility to speak or phone during the class ? Yes, virtual school, it’s the freedom. Sometimes, you’re in a real High-School, and during the class, you have to move or to run in the WC, but, unhappily, you can’t. But now, imagine.. You’re in your own room, and you must fastly drink something. No problems ! You go easily in the kitchen, and you drink. But there is an other positive aspect about virtual school. Theses last years, there has been a lot of violence or drugs problem, like, for exemple, in Columbine High School... But, if you study in your home, there is no problems ! Nobody will come and sell you some strange drug, or kill you ! You’re far, very far from all these stupid things. So, we can now say that virtual school is a very quiet education system, and not the less safe.

But on the other hand, living with all these problems, having to manage a hard schedule, isn’t it an igood way to learn the sense of the responsability, wich is one the principal aim of the education. If you “study” in your own home, you have no timetable, and no rigorous consign. How could you manage a serious job in the future, if you aren’t able to organise you school time-table, wich is, of course, lighter than an adult’s schedule. It’ll be impossible. It’s a real advantage of the normal High-School. But, an other goal of the school is to accustom you to the social life. If you have always lived in an enclosed room, how will you react when you’ll have to cummunicate with other people for your job, or to help somebody ? Stupidly. But, if you have gone in a normal High-School for some years, you’ll be acustomed to live with everybody, without any border of colour, nationality or hobbys... This is an other pros of the virtual school.

Now, let’s imagine I’ve to choose between study with “school.com”, or in a real High-School. Me, I won’t never hesitate, and would undoubtedly run in the High-School. To me, this establishment represents fellowship and friendship, and I wouldn’t be able to leave it... I think it’s a real luck to have the opportunity of meeting à lot of people in only one day. You speak with people, you eat with people, you study with people... It’s really good for everybody ! And we can also speak about the learning of foreigners languages ! To learn it, we need a real profesor who can correct our bad prononciation. It’s impossible to have this possibility with a virtual profesor. Seriously, I’ll choose the normal High-School for all these reasons...

:d) Qu´en pensez-vous ?

:merci: d´avance !

"The student who have chosen "
:d) Alors que c´est "The student who HAS chosen" non ?

:doute:
