Ah ben voilà une base correcte pour bosser
Donc ...
I think that nowadays (de nos jours) monarchy (plutôt que royalty, le terme est plus adapté) has become senseless (ou meaningless, au choix). William is just a teenager but must nevertheless (néanmoins) submit to royal authority. He should inherit the throne, but he doesn´t wish to become the next King. (je pars du principe que tu as voulu dire qu´il allait hériter du trône mais ne voulait pas devenir roi). Monarchy deprives William of a part of his private life.
I would not like to be in Prince William´s shoes because he has too much obligations to meet (to meet obligations : assumer ses obligations). He must face the medias and their critics. He must devote himself to monarchy, which deprives him his free time.
However, his siuation also has advantages. He is recognized as an important person, and is respected by most people.
