I also remember the time when i went to watch Star Wars episode 1 in the UK : I had trouble to understand Yoda, and I cried when I heard JarJar Binks ! I thought I was really bad at english, because I wasn´t understanding a single word...

VIolentSato :

I like WATCHING

car comme tous les vbs come LOVE, PREFER... c suivi de ING

Sinon, tu as tendance à mettre 2 fois le passé dans une seule forme verbale
==> I didn´t laugh et non " I didn´t laughed"
==> I didn´t understand et non " I didn´t understood"

Ah et sinon petite suggestion, au début de ton post tu fais " No more Japonese, I promise it", mais je mettrais plutôt " I promised" et je virerais le IT.

You seem to be pretty good at English but sometimes you make few grammar mistakes due to the fact that you send your answers too quickly!

Autant pour moi :
No more JapAnese, sorry!!
& " I promise"

Yes, I saw this mistake by myself, but there is not edit button on this forum and it was too late.^^

I could be a lot better in english if I was practicing, but I haven´t touched a grammar book since 3 years, so I forgot some grammar rules...^^
I should listen the BBC radio, too...

However, I don´t think that I´m so good : it´s easy to write basic english, but it´ as hard as in french to have a good written english.

As long as I make mentally my sentences in french first and then translate them in english, I won´t have a good written english ( because english is not an exact copy of french).

English, a beautiful language? I don´t think that : I think that French is the most beautiful language and that the English should learn French as we have to learn English. I´d like that the French becomes the universal language thus, in this case, I won´t have to learn English :ok:

In the United States we learn Spanish and for my part French because I lived 3 years in France.
French and too much to complicate to become a language universal :ok:

Brandon-CA is right when he talks about the difficulties of the french language.
Lots of strangers doesn´t like learn french because of too complication.
